New Hampshire - Joe Biden has received universal ridicule from around the country for calling a 21 year old female student a "lyin’ dog-faced pony soldier" while campaigning in New Hampshire. Many wondered where the reference had originated, and were left wondering well after it was uttered. But with an endorsement today the origin of the saying may have been discovered.

At their annual meeting today, The John Wayne Fan Club Of America has unanimously agreed to award their Presidential endorsement to none other than Joe Biden. The President of the fan club jubilantly stated "It's about time that our national leaders use some of the quotes from John Wayne. Not only was he a brilliant actor, but a great orator and statesman too."

The fan club had intended to give their endorsement to President Trump like they had before, but the John Wayne quote changed everyone's mind. When asked what movie the quote was from, he said "It is not a direct quote, but we believe it is from the 1953 movie "Hondo."

A partial quote from such a relevant movie was all it took to get the coveted endorsement. All forty-seven of the members voted in favor of Biden, although there is some question as to whether or not any of the members will actually vote for Biden over Trump.
