Washington, DC - Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi shocked many when she apparently ripped up a copy of President Trump’s speech after the State Of The Union address last night. Many of her constituents praised the gesture, while Trump supporters were appalled at the display.

While leaving the chambers Pelosi was asked why she ripped up the speech and she stopped to say “I didn’t rip up his speech. That was not worth the effort of ripping. I was ripping up a copy of the Constitution to symbolize what we have been doing in the House the past few years.” After a few moments of surprise by reporters processing the news, she was asked if that was what she was reading while listening to President Trump’s speech. “I was not reading the Constitution. I never have. I was grading that horrible speech and it received an F minus.”
